Amberley Castle is one of the most special places I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The castle is beautiful, the rooms exceptionally comfortable & clean. With only 19 rooms it was never overcrowded so there was always a comfortable sofa to relax on, in one of the three lounges. The dinner was excellent, an unusual & varied "tasting menu" with a wide choice of wines. The staff in every area are friendly & helpful.

We received a very warm welcome from the host. It is a lovely little B&B with a good mix of antiques and new design. Everything is very lovingly decorated. For breakfast we had homemade jam and even the butter is homemade. The location couldn't be better is in the heart of Arundel. There are many small antique shops and cafes. The castle is a few minutes walk away. We would love to come back!

Norton Studio is a lovely, cosy cottage in the heart of Arundel. It was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and very spacious and comfortable. Cian was a fantastic and gracious host. He left us treats, was so helpful and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Superb fully renovated appartment, using quality materials. Could not ask for much better accomodation. Everything is thought for, for the well being of customers. The property is nestled in a quiet lane, immersed in rural settings... but within a few minutes drive from Storrington. Jenny and Andy are perfect hosts, answering to all queries, very kindly. We enjoyed far more the chinese take-away you recommened us (great cooking, fast service and very good value for money... unlike the Thai restaurant, far too commercial and a rip off...A place to avoid). Thanks for sharing your passion for garden landscaping, your grounds are just stunning. We will be back. Have a nice Christmas & hope to stay at your flat in 2024. Merci beaucoup pour votre professionnalisme et votre gentillesse.

    Amberley museum is superb (particularly if the weather is cooperative). The village itself is picture-postcard lovely, and the village shop is disconcertingly well stocked. If you like walking it could hardly be a better location.

    Amberley is a beautiful hotel in lovely grounds in a very pretty village. The service is fantastic and the rooms are lovely. The food is perfection, so although it’s very expensive, it is a real treat. I only have one word of advice. If you value your privacy in the lavatory, do not book Winchelsea room as there is no door between the bedroom and the bathroom. I have no idea why that is.

    Amazingly beautiful village with wonderfully maintained gardens and thatched roofs, felt like a film set. Great stopping point on South Downs Way, with couple of pubs and the castle that does afternoon teas and fine dining.

    Pricey for what you get.

    Pricey for what you get. Just because it's in a castle doesn't mean the rate should be so high, especially if they aren't offering anything 'special. Small room, no water pressure, sparce. But bed comfy and nice staff.

    Pretty area. Great walks.

    Pretty area. Great walks. The Bridge Inn pub was walkable from the Castle. Staff at the Castle were fabulous and we felt very relaxed. Would have loved to have stayed for another night but no availability sadly.

    A truly beautiful location and hotel with great character and history. I had a room on the ground level with a private courtyard - easy access, private and extremely comfortable. I was greeted with a complimentary drink and wonderful service from the staff, who were welcoming and friendly. Dinner was lovely and the service was excellent. The gardens were very beautiful too.

    The whole house was damp and uncomfortable Don’t stay there. We had to move to a hotel as it was so damp that we couldn’t breathe and the kitchen smelt so awful that we didn’t eat or drink anything there.
