From the moment that we walked into The Falcon we were made to feel very welcome. The staff were attentive and catered for our every need throughout our stay and did so with a smile. The food was good and plentiful and it was a pleasure to sit down with a meal and a pint at the end of a days walking. The room was very comfortable and the peace and quiet was a joy. If the staff are unfriendly, unapproachable and unhelpful. It does not matter what the rooms like? or Meal? However the way the Falcon Inn advertise a varied menu on their web site and then give us NO CHOICE OF FOOD ONLY SCAMPI is a Disgrace! And the reason why the place ran out of fish is they were SELLING FISH AND CHIPS at the door of the Falcon Inn to LOCAL PEOPLE. Hence our fish was sold. This so wrong on so many levels!!! The Owner & Staff have lost the PLOT. The place is a INN not a FIsh & Chip shop! I am a trained Chef and worked in this field, The Owner should have, Pre Cooked food and fresh food to serve to the Guests with a smile on your face for your guests.
