Rural area. Lovely views. Settle is a short drive away which is handy for pubs, shopping and fuel top up. Well placed for Lancaster and similar. Nice pub, restaurant and cream tea on door step. Super traditional English pub with a great Vibe, food and Ales. Staff were exceptional. Rooms good with nice en-suites . Good size flat TV and small fridge that was really useful. Lovely part of the Yorkshire Dales. Lots of stunning walks. We were blessed with gorgeous weather as well. We stayed at The Game Cock Inn which was lovely. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The food was really nice and the breakfast was superb. The yummy bakery attached to the pub was an added bonus with Delicious homemade tarts and a selection of different breads We also wandered down the road to The Traddock ( A Yorkshire Dales Hotel and Restaurant) which was beautiful, with stunning gardens and friendly staff too.Guest review byMarleneUnited Kingdom

Great room with views of the garden, felt relaxing and welcoming. The staff are lovely the lady on reception warm and friendly and the bar staff are superb. We had a huge lunch enroute so did not eat in the restaurant which was a shame as breakfast was very good. We had rather a lot of gin and tonics in the bar with two friends who run G and T restaurant in Ingleton and then sat and chatted to a local builder. The village had well stocked shop for food supplies etc and the food in the local pub was excellent and within easy walking distance. The Coach House was very well appointed with a very good kitchen and two bedrooms, both ensuite, very important when holidaying with friends.
