Good value, good breakfast choice and generous servings. Public rooms a little shabby, but bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower was good. Quiet after 10.30 which is good for a family hotel. Good facilities on site for children. More of a family resort than a couples resort, but different hotel options on the site would suit others. We went with grandchildren so fine for us. Lovely surrounding scenery, close to Aviemore train station and attractions in Aviemore. Entertainment was also there on Friday at the woodshed bar by Keith Mair from Aviemore. The location is also great as Loch Morlich will provide you with all the rest you need and the cairngorm mountains at only 15 minutes away will give you a challenge in climbing ben macdui.
