We booked a deluxe room which was at the front of the hotel in the old part. The room was comfortably furnished with a huge king size bed. All the staff we met were lovely and welcoming. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. Ideally located in town so close to all facilities. We wouldn't hesitate in returning.

Excellent stay in a great location. A lovely traditional pub dating back to the 1500's. Good selection of beer, wine and pub food. Cooked breakfast to order and great quality. The hosts, Steve and Karen were absolutely brilliant and I was made to feel very welcome. As a lone female traveller I didn't feel awkward as I do is some places. I could have easily stayed longer! Well done all. I will definitely be back again soon.

The staff were exceptional, always smiling and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble .The food was really lovely, it was warm, comfortable and had absolutely everything you could wish for. I couldn’t fault it!

The location is perfect, the house is immaculate, there's a garden to sit in with a glass of wine, weather permitting. Fabulous shower. Fully equipped kitchen for those that like to eat in. The hosts were attentive and responded straight away with my question about parking.
