We had asked on arrival if we could order a full English breakfast for the following morning and they were very gracious. They followed up later in asking precisely what we would like and at what time. The following morning we were greeted warmly and a delightful breakfast was served speedily. I can't fault The Royal Oak at all. It is a little gem.

    The nest is a hideaway at the bottom of a track next to a...

    The nest is a hideaway at the bottom of a track next to a field. I think part of the track is a public footpath but we didn't see anyone. The room is extremely comfortable and the shower wet room is first class. Milk was kept in a small fridge which was great in this warm weather . The patio is great for chilling. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to a family illness but hope to be back. I have attached a photo of the sunset as seen from the nest patio.
