The front desk staff handled well a technological issue. They let me know the problem, apologized, and worked diligently and as a team to resolve it timely. The hotel looked nice and was comfortable.

I did go out for a walk once or twice a day and do get a chance to drive around the town. Great historical town, friendly people, nice walks due to the inclining and declining clean streets. Nice little cafes and restaurants. Clean crisp air can have rain a couple of times during an hour or walk but could be due to the rainy season during my visit.

I had the choice between Hilton by Hampton and this property. I’ve stayed at Hilton by Hampton before, and while those are your typical franchise hotels, this place offers more of a “home-like” feeling. That said, there are some drawbacks: • The rooms don’t have air conditioning, a fridge, or bottled water. • My sink was blocked on arrival, though maintenance came to fix it. • There’s no electric car charging on-site, even though the car park is large. • The building layout is confusing, and the signs directing to the rooms could be much clearer. Paint was peeling and crumbling of the windows and doors due to lack of attention and up keeping. On the positive side, I really liked the bed and duvet, and I actually got a very good night’s sleep—better than I usually get in other hotels. If the owners paid some care and attention this can be a stunning boutique hotel with its charm and character.

Blackburn has changed since last time visit, the roads are clearly signposted for ease of access around the town. With it being an industrial town and administrative centre of the Blackburn with Darwen borough in Lancashire. places to visit: Blackburn museum, walk around Witton Country park and Blackburn Cathedral

We stayed in a family room.Price was good. The room was clean with a decent sized, nice double bed but single beds were not comfortable, view from room was nice. Great service ,nice staff at check-in-desk, very good car parking facility, A/C was not working All night, next day we checked out before 11am also there are NO phones available to call room service. Other wise we had a great time at the hotel. Definitely recommended to stay at Willows👍.

The hotel was very convenient, being at the foot of the slip road from the motorway and adjacent to a number of food and amenity shops in the service area. I was visiting and meeting up with family and friends in the Bolton area so I didn't see much of Blackburn.

The staff was very helpful, Gym was open as pandemic was over. Also had good take away service near by. The taxi service is cheap, used it all the time. I visited the Calypso Restaurant on the Wharf, which was great and and the music was very good.

Room itself was very clean and nice comfy bed. Good size, easy to enter and like that you don’t need a physical key. Bathroom very clean also and has the basics which is nice. Only issue i had was trying to check out, no staff at reception when i was leaving so had to message via booking.com to ask if we could just leave. The £50 deposit not being advertised is a bit annoying! but it got refunded. Location is good, cheap ish compared to the other hotels in the area but still quite expensive for what it is. Overall, just fine

Fresh and new. Room was modern, clean and well thought out. Plenty of sockets/USB ports, good size mirror, little sofa area, desk and chair. Everything you need in a hotel room. Breakfast was good. The main lounge/breakfast area was nice and modern. Staff were friendly. Everywhere immaculately clean.
