I had the choice between Hilton by Hampton and this property. I’ve stayed at Hilton by Hampton before, and while those are your typical franchise hotels, this place offers more of a “home-like” feeling. That said, there are some drawbacks: • The rooms don’t have air conditioning, a fridge, or bottled water. • My sink was blocked on arrival, though maintenance came to fix it. • There’s no electric car charging on-site, even though the car park is large. • The building layout is confusing, and the signs directing to the rooms could be much clearer. Paint was peeling and crumbling of the windows and doors due to lack of attention and up keeping. On the positive side, I really liked the bed and duvet, and I actually got a very good night’s sleep—better than I usually get in other hotels. If the owners paid some care and attention this can be a stunning boutique hotel with its charm and character.

Blackburn has changed since last time visit, the roads are clearly signposted for ease of access around the town. With it being an industrial town and administrative centre of the Blackburn with Darwen borough in Lancashire. places to visit: Blackburn museum, walk around Witton Country park and Blackburn Cathedral

We stayed in a family room.Price was good. The room was clean with a decent sized, nice double bed but single beds were not comfortable, view from room was nice. Great service ,nice staff at check-in-desk, very good car parking facility, A/C was not working All night, next day we checked out before 11am also there are NO phones available to call room service. Other wise we had a great time at the hotel. Definitely recommended to stay at Willows👍.

The hotel was very convenient, being at the foot of the slip road from the motorway and adjacent to a number of food and amenity shops in the service area. I was visiting and meeting up with family and friends in the Bolton area so I didn't see much of Blackburn.

The staff was very helpful, Gym was open as pandemic was over. Also had good take away service near by. The taxi service is cheap, used it all the time. I visited the Calypso Restaurant on the Wharf, which was great and and the music was very good.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I cannot believe booking. Com allow a property like this on the site. Dirty floors, beds unchanged with hairs in them, blood on the mattress. Shower not working, no towels. Absolutely disgusting place. I have plenty of photos if the hotel or booking. Com need proof of my experience.

Hotel a bit far from town ( couldn’t walk) Breakfast a bit limited in choice/quality. Everything else was great - comfortable, clean, quiet, modern and bright reception and bar area.

The hotel is located in the city centre. That's the only plus.
