On arrival the member at staff at reception was very welcoming! Our room was delightful, large twin -bed and nicely laid out plenty of space to move about in. and the bathroom was huge & very clean. We enjoyed what was our second stay here and look forward to another return visit in the near future!! perfect location in the heart of Bournemouth with seafront, Bournemouth gardens & it's only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and 10 minutes into town where there is plenty of restaurant's, pubs, shops, and Pavilion theatre ***** 😍👌

Sea Air and Savoir-Faire

Known for its sandy beaches and good nightlife, Bournemouth is a popular seaside resort on the Dorset coast between Poole and Christchurch.

The town is centered on the Bourne River, running downhill towards the sea by Bournemouth Pier. This pier looks back towards a promenade lined with beach huts at the foot of grassy cliffs. The promenade continues west to Poole, while a road heads east to neighboring Boscombe, where anglers often fish from its pier. Overlooking it is a clifftop road housing some Bournemouth hotels with sea views.

Booking.com also has hotels near the BIC (Bournemouth International Center) in the West Cliff area. This convention center and music venue is a short walk from the Art Deco Pavilion Theatre next to the Lower Gardens. In this popular city park is the Bournemouth Eye, a tethered hot air balloon with far-reaching views.

At the park’s top end the river disappears under a large square, then emerges in the Central Gardens. Overlooking these gardens is the Victorian town hall, which used to be one of several spa hotels in Bournemouth. Nearby, there's a Grade I registered historic church, and St. Peter’s Church has the grave of Mary Shelley, author of "Frankenstein."

On the outskirts of town, near 4 golf courses and the Castlepoint Shopping Center, is Bournemouth Airport.

    This isn't Bournemouth!! It's Nearer Hengistbury Head end of Southbourne it's quieter,the long beach is perfect for families (and dogs). There are beachhuts ,toilets and also small beach cafes and ice cream hubs. Sandy ,very clean beaches that remain in high tide.

    Whilst Bournemouth and Poole have some great beaches the weather was against us on some of the days however we still managed to visit a number of interesting places in the surrounding area that are well worth a visit i.e. Salisbury, Frome, Dorchester and Lymington

    We stayed in the main beach area in September and it was a perfect location, as I had my mum with me in her 70’s and the length of walk to the beach and the gradient were perfectly manageable for her. There were lots of restaurants and always something going on in the square. The beaches were so clean.

    I like the hotel ,it has a regency charm and period character throughout. Our room was spacious and clean. We used the leisure facilities, which were lovely (although there is an additional charge of £5 pp to use them ) Some of the furnishings are dated in appearance but I don't think this detracted from our stay experience. The location on the Bournemouth beach front is superb and Sarvar (sorry if I've spelt your name wrong) and the rest of the staff were really helpful so all in all making for a very enjoyable overnight break.

    Friendly staff, very busy hotel, checking in was ok, trouble locating us a room due to 1 of the lifts broken, family room on 3rd floor, and was told they would help us up with luggage, declined as I couldn't walk up stairs eventually a room was found which I could get to Swimming pool, which was great. Entertainment on most evening Location is great 10 min walk to beach Boscombe gardens is lovely close to Bournemouth town centre, few mins on bus Boscombe Hight Street great lots of places to eat and drink

    The signature room had a fantastic sea view, which exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious and it was great that there were two TVs and a mini fridge. The breakfast included in the price was also great value for money and was delicious. Fantastic hotel location in the centre of town by the sea. There is also a car park right next to the hotel with parking for 24 hours for only £7.50 which is very cheap compared to the other car parks in Bournemouth or anywhere else for 24 hours.

    Very clean and very modern decorating and furniture. The bedroom was very clean, with high-quality mattresses and warm. The pool was open till 9pm but a little cold. We had a problem with the room booking, but the front of house and housekeeping sorted in within 10 minutes. The breakfast was self-service and very tasty. We visit Bournemouth regularly and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in, it was worth spending the extra money.

    The location of this hotel is brilliant. Close to the Bournemouth Pier and the beach. It's important especially when travelling with kids. The hotel room was comfy and warm. The swimming pool was amazing. The water temperature was perfect, not very busy there giving my daughter plenty of time to practice her Swimming. That was not the first time I booked this place, always confident with my choice. I will definitely book again.
