    A beautiful fully dog friendly beach away from the hustle...

    A beautiful fully dog friendly beach away from the hustle and seagulls of Scarborough. Free road parking and clean toilets and the wonderful Salty Dog cafe means you can stay there all day. Even though this was the summer holidays it wasn't to busy and you can learn to surf and it's safe for children with lifeguards on duty. A jewel in the Yorkshire coast

    Lovely little Village.

    Lovely little Village. It has everything you need in walking distance or if you want a large supermarket or fast food outlets they are a very short drive away. Public transport is available, but I believe only run's once an hour and only till 18:00.

    The room was good value for money as the Poachers Barn was...

    The room was good value for money as the Poachers Barn was quite close to Scarborough and Filey where all the rooms were much more expensive. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The on site Bar was busy but evening food had to be ordered by 19.00pm. The mattress in our room was old and noisy and there was no on suite facility apart from a wash basin. The toilet and shower were down the hall and shared with another room. There was tea and coffee facilities with an electric kettle. We didn't eat at the Poachers Barn.
