I only travelled through Cheadle Village on the local bus...
I only travelled through Cheadle Village on the local bus several times but I remember it from a long way back. There are some local shops along with the chains and a few pubs and coffee bars to rest in. An Iceland supermarket dominates the centre. The abiding feature for me is the church and churchyard of St Mary's at the western end. It is very well kept and a lovely sight at the moment with the cherry trees all in bloom. Cheadle was a cute town within walking distance of my hotel.
Cheadle was a cute town within walking distance of my hotel. I found a lovely restaurant called Ratatouille that served me very nicely even though it was in the afternoon and I was the only person there. Easy walking distance to Cheadle village, where there is many charity shops but few boutiques and no bookshops! Lots of barber shops and nail bars!!! Fabulous hotel great location for Cheadle and Didsbury where we visited family. Our room had a lovely view over the park. There are loads of good restaurants near by however the hotel restaurant is excellent. Both the restaurant and bar areas are well decorated comfortable places to unwind. There is a fantastic Uber service here which is very cheap to get about. Would make a lovely Manchester airport hotel if you wanted to extend your holiday and go down the night before you fly.
