Check in, staff were happy, nice vibe in bar, my two boys and I treated as valued guests. All house keeping staff smiled and greeted us in the corridor. Age limit on Jacuzzi needs explanation and possibility that old and over weight guests may suffer health issues, not only under 16.

As we arrived to a warm welcome we immediately felt comfortable in our surroundings. A perfect peaceful location situated just outside Bottesford. Our double room was clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated with a nice comfy bed. The view from our room overlooked the large garden and pond at the back with a cottage and cattle sheds to the left. Breakfast was very nice with cereal, fruit, toast and full english on offer whilst sitting at a large communal table surrounded by lovely interesting antiques. Richard and Helen are very friendly, lovely people, and we enjoyed their hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful apartment, location for town centre and local transport on the doorstep, everything you need is catered for in the apartment, we would definitely highly recommend staying here.

It was so clean, beautiful room with tea/coffee facilities. Everything you need for a short stay. The hosts have been easy to communicate with and have been helpful in returning some items we accidentally left behind.

    Claypole is a small village, which nevertheless has its own...

    Claypole is a small village, which nevertheless has its own well stocked shop, butchers, pub and coffee shop. Very convenient for a short stay, perhaps sightseeing in nearby Newark -and Lincoln a little further away. Very quiet environment which might be preferable to a town for some. We attended a wedding celebration at the Claypole village hall, with its well looked after and attractive 1920's interior. Village hall facilities include a kitchen, ample seating and tables and children's outside play area.

    Really like the setup of the apartment, set in a quiet...

    Really like the setup of the apartment, set in a quiet location. It has everything you need for a few nights away. Kitchen with oven & hob, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer. Comfy sofa to chill out and watch the TV which has Freeview channels. Plenty for me. Large comfy double bed....very easy to dose off in. I'd definitely stay there again.
