    Cymmer is just the right place for relax.

    Cymmer is just the right place for relax. Lots of walking and cycling trials. Not too much tourists. We took some food with us so it was pleasure to cook, but it was few places to eat if someone does not like cooking. 5min drive to mountain bike trials and amazing walking trials in Afan forest.

    Cymmer is a stunning location on the edge of Afan Argoed...

    Cymmer is a stunning location on the edge of Afan Argoed country park. Lovely pub the Refreshment rooms and endless miles of cycling and walking tracks within the forest. Limited bus service so a vehicle is needed to get around.

    Cymmer offers wonderful forested, mountain views in a quiet setting. Host is friendly and accommodating but not intrusive. Apartment is spacious, immaculate, and in excellent condition. Very good value

    Location Was quiet and peaceful.but a really good atmosphere in the bar in the evening.Drinks and food at reasonable prices and the food was really tasty.We took our 17 month old Labrador and found the walks in the area safe and amazing even little streams he could play in.The room was clean.warm and very welcoming and our view was to die for.The staff were very helpful and friendly.The only downside was the typical South Wales weather (RAIN) but nobody has any control over the 😄. Will definitely be booking again.

    Afan lodge is a lovely place to stay with beautiful views.

    Afan lodge is a lovely place to stay with beautiful views. The mountain biking routes are fabulous and right on the doorstep. Staff at the lodge are extremely helpful and the cooked breakfast is great.
