We had a great overnight stay here at the end of our time on the Uists. It definitely could have been longer. Really great accommodation, everything is very clean. The hosts run the accommodation with a lot of passion, attention to detail and hospitality. Be sure to make a reservation for dinner, Chris is a great cook.

Location was good (close to the ferry), breakfast was really good, the room and the bathroom were clean and really comfy, the host was really nice and helpful, the custom booklet about activities to do on Uist and surrounding islands was really helpful too ! Would definitely recommend !

Very nice place. Whereas in my experience with most holiday homes you don't get to meet anyone (there are only messages and code to key safe) it must be said that meeting the host in person really adds to the positive experience, thank you Rona for your hospitality, friendliness and help.

It is well situated for visiting the more southern islands. Plenty of room and everything that you need. There is a hotel and shop within walking distance. It was cosy and there is also a log burner. The hosts are lovely and very helpful.

    Lots to do- look into visiting the north & south area- all are within a comfortable drive. Get a map that shows the highlights- nature preserve, beaches, distilleries, standing stones, castle ruins, Uist Soap, restaurants like Politician, Charlie’s, Westford- all worth a trip. Stayed in Uist Travel Accommodation- clean, well stocked, ideal location- loved Peter & Archie (proprietors)- couldn’t ask for more! Went above & beyond to assist & accommodate! Will definitely plan a return trip!

    I booked. Ferry became unavailable.

    I booked. Ferry became unavailable. I requested cancellation and refund 2 days in advance. Response was try another route. Not possible due to other commitments and bookings...email sent...BUT NO RESPONSE! UNHAPPY AND VERY DISSATISFIED.

    All towns in Outer Hebrides are very small.

    All towns in Outer Hebrides are very small. Daliburgh is a great location close enough to multiple harbours and on the main road. The shop has exceptionally long opening hours and is well stocked (Co-op). Buses are running too and fairly frequently. Good walks nearby.

    Attention-to-detail by the owners, a winning recipe from a traveller's point of view. We wish the owners every success - it is clearly well-deserved! Breakfast was cooked-to-order and scrumptious! You do need a car to travel around on this island.
