We stayed in Denstone as we had booked tickets for Alton towers. The park is about 15 mins away. We went to a fee local pubs and take aways suggested by our B&B. The views are amazing and if you like Country walks you will love Denstone. Lots of open space but close to little villages if you need supplies.Guest review bysheilaUnited Kingdom

Very cosy and lots of space for us, much more than you’d get at a hotel etc. Russell was an amazing host and really made us feel welcome, including introducing us to the animals which was lovely. We mentioned we were coming up for a birthday and the place had some very thoughtful birthday decoration, which was a very nice addition. The room was lovely, impeccably clean, very well equipped kitchen and furniture wise. The welcome was lovely, the room was very comfortable and had everything I needed and more. For the price this is much more enjoyable than staying in a budget hotel in my view. Great to be able to make my own food, relax on the sofa.
