We had a fantastic stay! Arjun is an absolute gem—he went above and beyond to assist us, from recommending great restaurants to managing our late check-out request. The room was spacious and equipped with all the essential amenities we needed. The hotel’s location is very convenient, just a short walk from the ferry station. Overall, a solid 10/10 for the staff and their flexibility in understanding and accommodating guests’ needs. Highly recommended!

Despite a rather rough crossing and limited things to do on the ferry, I suggest the 8th deck front lounge for extra comfort, on arrival Douglas felt welcoming. Parking was easy enough, road network is complex at times but Google maps helped us where needed. Very pleasant shopping area with lots of stores to choose from. Only stayed for 1 day as we travelled around the Island, but during our time is was enjoyable

The reason for my visit was to visit friends,if I had been on my own in October not much to do on the island if you have visited before.A lot of food venues closing early afternoon not much to do at night as hotel only open for bed & breakfast. I had a hired car was able to get around the island otherwise would have to take bus , weather warning one of the day had to stay indoors scary.....

almost becomes a ghost town when out of season. Many places ,shops and even restaurants closed down. The Island itself with its small coastal towns and outstanding countryside , slow relaxed lifestyle makes it in my opinion paradise for retirement which was what I was looking for. Warned that it gets very loud and exciting during the TT Races'. Best of all the locals are so friendly and helpful. o

Douglas is a useful hub with some good restaurants and transport links. The Manx Museum is outstanding. We spent a lot of time exploring the Island which we enjoyed. Some fascinating history and locations and excellent museums. A pity we couldn't see inside the Gaiety Theatere- it seemed to be permanently locked and we couldn't find contact details.

In the process of refurbishment. We had a lovely room at the front . The staff were excellent; professional and very helpful . Also friendly from reception through to breakfast staff . Good old fashioned manners and high class service. When the work on the hotel is finished, other Douglas dated hotels with bad attitude staff will have huge competition. Stayed in many hotels on the island , this hotel is part of a group , stayed often at the Claremont one if it’s sister hotels . This is a three star presently one that is good value !

Ideal location just outside of Douglas plenty of parking and I was able to park outside the owners garage. Very large property with lots of communal space to sit and relax in lounge and conservatory with great views across the Bay. Host was very helpful and for our first Visit to the Isle of Man could not have wanted more.
