    We have known the town of East Grindstead of many years...

    We have known the town of East Grindstead of many years having grown up in a village very close by and attending school there. In our opinion, it is not as nice as it was, we moved away some 10 years ago to escape the never ending urban sprawl, high street decline, and neon monstrosities built after demolishing irreplaceable period buildings. That said, there isn't really a lot to do, and is best summed up as a stop over for Gatwick Airport, a shame really as we have many fond memories.

    Such a beautiful and relaxing hotel with amazingly friendly stuff who's always there happy to help beautiful bar area food was amazing it was honestly one of my favourite get aways we wished that we booked extra nights it was so relaxing just what we needed

    Poor value. Like a Premier Inn but 4 times the cost. Bathroom too small, facilities overall very tired. Bar very transient - poor lighting, no ambience Spa/pool area - very cold, poor lighting, very busy, looed very tired

    Great place to explore the countryside and visit local attractions (Hever Castle, Churchill house, Tunbridge Wells). The area has some lovely places to eat and drink, especially The Wiremill Lakeside Pub & Inn.

    Pleasant stay, staff were lovely and the breakfast selection was excellent and really good value. The facilities were clean and well prepared, the bar was comfortable and a good selection of drinks. Overall we had a lovely stay for our event at Lingfield Racecourse.

    I had book a queen suite as a overnight stay for a family member on their wedding night. I had requested if possible could the room have a garden view and a late checkout. The room had its own little secluded veranda overlooking the gardens and they also had the option of late checkout till 1pm. As one of them is celiac I had asked if hotel offered gluten free option, which they have wide selection of. The chef was excellent in making sure they was no cross contamination in the kitchen. They loved their overnight stay at the hotel.

    Perfectly clean, spacious room. The option of continental or cooked breakfast was perfect for us. If we are ever anywhere Near East Grinstead again we wouldn't hesitate to stay @ Cranston House. Easy quick walk into town for evening eating!

    The room is more spacious than a hotel room, it is very clean and it is within walking distance to food places and supermarkets. The washing machine/dryer is a large one which also dries the clothes very well.
