Lovely Hotel, 400 years old and lots of character, very friendly, regular bus service to Lockerbie, Annan, Gretna and Carlisle. We had a great adventure. Hotel was very friendly and we loved our stay. The food was good pub grub and the hotel was lovely as was the room. We had a beautiful on suite. A big comfy bed. Easy to access from the motorway. The room was clean and there was plentiful hot water. Everything about the hotel is very tired and well used. However, if have good manners and you're looking to experience English eccentricity in your host with a Fawlty Towers type hotel stay this is most definitely the place for you.
