    Beautiful location and also dog friendly I believe. Like the chill out music on the terrace and thr food is fabulous too. Great views over the lake and would recommend..to anyone and have already done this with 2 sets of friends x

    The narrow lane access was full of deep potholes.

    The narrow lane access was full of deep potholes. There were no signs stating that there was convenient access to rooms from the car park level with suggestions possibly to register first up the flight of stairs (internally there are three flights of steep stairs down to the rooms. Signage would have been helpful). There is nothing near the hotel but water and woods so a car trip down the narrow lane is necessary even for a newspaper. The boutique hotel room was modern and clean with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately there were essential items missing, such as no waste bin in the bedroom, no shelf for toiletries/toothbrush in the bathroom and no grab rail for elderly occupants; in fact the situation was not good for anyone with vertigo or mobility issues. We received family guests for dinner, one meal was unfortunately overcooked so much so that the basic fish and chips meal was refunded. This reflected badly on us as hosts and will not recommend it to others for such a visit.

    From arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our room. Complimentary porridge oats, coffees and bottled water made for a welcomed surprise. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. There is a fabulous restaurant built into the hotel called The Gurkha, the food was amazing.... We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, infact we are going to book again for next year even though the event that we attended is in its own luxurious hotel.... We just felt so well looked after at The Felbridge

    We had our evening meal in the restaurant (The Gurkha), which was delicious and good value for money. The room was comfortably warm and the bed was very comfortable. We had a very good night's sleep, even though we were on the front of the hotel. We noticed planes going overhead when we left the next day, but we had not been aware of them while we were in the hotel. Parking was easy and convenient.

    The room was comfortable clean and had everything for a good night. The late check out was brilliant at no extra cost. The porridge oats in the room were an absolute superb touch. Thank you I will definitely use this hotel again!!!!

    Excellent room, bedding and towels very high quality. We have dogs and felt they were given little extras. We stayed at three different hotels for this trip and the Wiremill was by far the best.
