The perfect stay. Near the beach , the staff were excellent as was the yummy breakfast. Room was clean and warm . Very nice relaxed atmosphere. Definitely be back.

Nothing to complain about here. Spacious hotel, good on site parking, our room was a family suite and very nicely presented and comfortable and modern, unlike the hotel overall which is quite old fashioned, and lacks modern decoration and a modern character. The breakfast offer was generous and typical English. For the price I paid it was excellent

Huge amount of space that even 7 people had plenty of room to be together and apart. The kitchen was superbly equipped and more than adequately accommodated a full on Christmas lunch. Just 2 minutes from the beach meant that the dog’s were well exercised and the friendly pub on the corner added to the experience. Amanda, the host, was always responsive and there is no doubt that we will host many more family events at the property.

The location of the property was fantastic, close to everything we needed. We managed to find the property easily and met the really friendly host.The property is really lovely, like home from home and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The homeowners house is at the front and the garden is amazing to look at. I would highly recommend!

    A trip to the docks is a must see. The promenade is a splendid walk & the gardens are lovely to walk through & just to sit in & watch the world go by. We always must have a trip to the Pinsa & Pasta restaurant on the front & also the fish & chip restaurant opposite the pier.

Fascinating insight into the early development of the town. Excellent, clean beaches and a thriving sailing community. We will certainly visit again

    We love Felixstowe, I lived here years ago & have family...

    We love Felixstowe, I lived here years ago & have family here, hence the visit & enjoyed seeing family & friends - it was only the hotel stay that was not good; we always chose The Orwell Hotel which has always had a prestigious reputation in years gone by but whatever has happened to it since our last visit means it will not be considered again - we'd rather go in a premier inn!

    Clean and pleasant to walk around, good walk along the sea front with nice gardens. Always clean. Busy end for families who want funfair etc but also quieter side for those who don't. Lovely town centre with lots of coffee shops and places to eat.

    There is a busy end and a quieter end. So should suit most people. The carnival was really good . Well done all those who organised the three days. We came to go the the theatre which was first rate so the carnival was a good added extra.

    Fine esplanade along a straight walk from the pier which could be extended to Landguard Point taking in the nature reserve and then round to view the estuary and Container Port with views across to Harwich. Shopping centre also quite pleasant

    We have stayed at this hotel before under previous owners. Pierre Marco White has totally refurbished it and rebranded, it was superb, extremely comfortable and very friendly staff. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was so roomy, loved the bathroom . Restaurant looked good although did not eat there ourselves.

    Caravan was lovely and clean. Beautiful location and very quiet. Caravan was minutes from the beach and the conservation area. Felixstowe is a great place for families. It is so dog friendly you can take them in the shops, most restaurants and the amusements.

    The only thing we liked was the convenient and beautiful location, however please be mindful, you are very near a very busy port/Felixstowe, and you can hear noise at night, if your window is open at night, particularly during this warm weather.
