Coleford is a decent place a few bars restaurants and shops. We ate at Amici which was very good and we liked The Dog House pub. The walk from the cottage was an easy downhill walk but struggled coming back. While we didn’t eat there in the end as our kids were ravenous and needed food immediately, apparently the Bells restaurant is one of the only sit-down dinner options in Coleford on a weeknight.
