Cliveden is stunning- like a mini Blenheim Palace! This was my “ Duchess moment “. Better than expected. Staff were excellent and eager to assist. Breakfast was superb and the dining was a very enjoyable experience. The French Room is stunning. The grounds are unbelievable! Great place to go walking with fantastic rural and river views.

Gerrard's Cross is a nice town in a prosperous area.

Gerrard's Cross is a nice town in a prosperous area. It's well serviced with a Tesco and Waitrose and has a few restaurants that seemed good though I can't actually recommend any except the Ethorpe's restaurant. To be honest, if we stay in the area again, I'd like to see if we can find something in Beaconsfield, for a change if nothing else.

    We really enjoyed the hotel.

We really enjoyed the hotel. Our room had everything we required. One issue was that the floorboards were very squeeky and therefore pretty annoying. We appreciate it must be difficult to resolve this problem. Also it was very noisy on the Friday evening, mainly caused by a stag night! We had a good breakfast one day and found a couple of very good restaurants in the village within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful.

My flight was cancelled and the airline couldn’t arrange a hotel, but The Bull Hotel saved the day. Even at midnight with payment issues, the staff warmly welcomed me, gave me a room, and even extended checkout so I could properly rest before my next flight. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Highly recommend!
