Maeve was incredibly nice and helpful. She offered to pick me up from the train station despite me being able to catch a bus, just because it was raining. The place is lovely, very clean and cozy. The hostel itself feels like it has a story to tell. I booked many accomodations during my trip in the UK and Ireland, and this was one of the best. Best Value for the price.

A super place, with friendly hosts, a spectacular seaside location and great facilities. I was pleased to be one of the first guests, and the place wasn't busy. Hopefully this will change, although not so much that I can't stay again! Would recommend

Spacious room with a small dining table and 2 chairs. Very good breakfast (bread, milk, cereal, orange juice, yogurt, banana, grapes, ham, cheese, chips etc) provided inside the room. Better than a hotel can offer. Private toilet with shampoo and bath soap. We even offered additional 2 croissants for our breakfast. Nice mountain view (sheeps roaming in the mountain) from our room.

Great location to use as a base to visit the causeway...

Great location to use as a base to visit the causeway coastline, Bushmills and Belfast itself. Hire a car and drive along the beautiful coastline, we saw dolphins very close to the shoreline. This little coastal village is quiet and friendly. Lovely castle grounds; the walled garden is definitely worth a visit; it also has , nice craft shops, and a great tea room. The village also has two pubs and even an exquisite jewellers (high end prices but still worth a visit, they have a workshop where I believe you can join in). The only eatery is Morans restaurant (book on open table) which serves lovely fresh food and is bring your own drink (you can buy your drink at the pub opposite and take it over to the restaurant). Would definitely recommend this location to others.

    Glenarm is small and quiet.

Glenarm is small and quiet. There is a well stocked supermarket nearby, A couple of Pubs, A Tea cafe, Glenarm Castle that is well worth a visit or two, serving food, A cafe, Ice Cream Parlour and much more. Harbour, Sea front walk, My favourite was the Castle walk through a forest and back along the Glenarm River, great for exercising your dog.

Glenarm is a charming little village with beautiful scenery. We walked around the Castle Gardens which were beautifully designed and laid out. The Tea rooms were also worth a visit for a good selection of meals, coffee and tray bakes. Tasty and good value. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Although Glenarm does not have restaurants, etc, it really is no problem as you don’t need to travel far to find a hotel, takeaway, etc. It is a great location to use as a base for those who wish to see more of the local areas. I will definitely return. We chose to go to the Londonderry Arms hotel in Carnlough to eat in the evenings, which is nearby and the food was first-class.
