The hosts were welcoming and the food was amazing! Everything was home cooked and baked, of the area and in season. Fabulous. The hiking trails leaving from the hotel were great and the train station very close. Loch Shiel is so beautiful. Staying here allows you to see the viaduct and loch when there are few tourists.

Oh my gosh we loved everything from the moment we stepped through the doors into the reception it was like a calm came over us and we were home. The staff were so lovely, the room was beautiful, the food amazing and the whole house stunning. It was lovely to be able to sit and relax in the drawing room by the fire Taking a walk around the grounds and loch was beautiful too especially being autumn and having all the autumn colours. We would highly recommend staying at Glenfinnan House Hotel if you are visiting Scotland

The food was fabulous and staff incredibly accommodating and sweet! Very helpful and available although we got in late! We were made a Huge lovely box breakfast because we had to leave before breakfast to catch a ferry!

We booked this B&B as we had a rescheduling of our ferry to the Isle of Mull and needed to depart from Lochaline instead of Oban. As such, we only booked one night and that pretty much last minute. However, we were received with a very warm welcome and the room was just perfect for us (family 4, with 2 kids at 6 and 8 years old). As we were taking the first ferry from Lochaline and would thus miss the breakfast, we were immediately asked if anything could be prepared for us to be ready as take-away breakfast. The hospitality and room were fantastic and we'd highly recommend a stay in case you're looking for accommodation in this area of Scotland!

What an amazing location, what a lovely hotel, what wonderful dining. This is a really special place. There is so much to do around the area, ie walking, animal and bird watching. The hotel is set in a peaceful setting and the staff are the best.

It was good location to the Main Street with lots of pubs, restaurants and shopping available. The staff was extremely friendly and we could do our laundry which was a big perk after being on the 8 day trek of the West Highland Way.
