Guildford is a lovely town with decent size and has everything there, but shops tend to close early. After 5pm downtown is quiet for most of the days. I enjoy staying there for 4-5 days, if longer than this it will be too boring. Not much can you do in Guildford. Quiet town - shops close at 5pm daily except maybe on Thursday for late night shopping. The Friary Shopping Mall was convenient. The bus services - bus station was also near the Friary and the buses were regular. She made me feel very welcomed and went above and beyond to help me to make it to my destination the next day. The room was very clean, warm, very comfortable, and centrally located only a 15 minute walk from Guildford Train Station. Sue went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. Service excellent, all employees are super sweet and attentive. Generally the facilities of the hotel are fine, you have everything in the same place. Location is very convenient if you are in a car. As you can reach major airports, London and place of interests within an Hour easily. Near to Guildford, which is a nice city with good restaurants and city life.
