Simple but gorgeous rooms with quaint views, very knowledgeable hosts with good recommendations, and a full English breakfast that was *just* the right size. Fresh daffodils everywhere was a pretty touch. The top floor was perfect for our group of myself, my partner, my sister and auntie (2 singles, 1 couple), as we were happy to share a bathroom between us.

Gorgeous period building, renovated to a modern (but still kept original character) high standard. Rooms were cosy, with extremely comfortable beds and great extra touches such as the tea tray with high quality products which was topped up each day. The cooked breakfast was fantastic and staff were super lovely and welcoming. Couldn’t ask for a better location with a handy carpark adjacent. We will definitely return.

I loved everything about our stay. The property is set in a fabulous countryside setting, immersed in nature in a tranquil, quintessential village. It was everything I hoped for and was looking for in my visit in the Cotswolds. The grounds of the property are just beautiful - we were able to enjoy them thanks to the beautiful weather in April - walking around and reading books in the garden enjoying the sun. The interior of the property was nothing short of cozy & welcoming - we enjoyed some tea in the bar and was just lovely. As this was an anniversary trip, the hotel upgraded our room which was a very much appreciated gesture on their side. Our room was comfortable, airy and large with room to put our luggages and replenished daily with tea and cookies. Breakfast was fantastic as well - with cold and food options available. A note of mention goes to the wonderful staff which was welcoming, warm and helpful throughout all our stay - even leaving a note in the room for our anniversary. We left the property refreshed and very happy. I personally did much research ahead of our trip to the Cotswolds and if you're like me, I'll say stop - pick this hotel and don't go any further. Should I come back to the Costwolds, this will be my first accomodation choice.

Lovely old building with bags of character. Our room was really well equipped, warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. Handy off-street parking behind the hotel (although only made aware of this through reading reviews before our stay, this wasn't mentioned in the pre-arrival info sent). Breakfast was a highlight, absolutely delicious cooked breakfast with the full works! A very comfortable stay and good value.

You're set in the middle of the wonderful Cotswolds in a village almost untouched in a hundred years or more. It's quaint and quintessentially English. You have a traditional pub next door, filled in equal part by locals and tourists. Within a few hundred metres you are into the countryside, along the Warden's Way, and exploring ancient lands. Many beautiful Cotswolds villages are just a short drive away along narrow, winding country roads.

Lovely, quiet place, tucked away but only a short drive to numerous other attractive Cotswolds locations. Wardens Way goes right through the village, providing an immediate route off road, into the countryside.

A traditional old village with a couple of lovely pubs in close proximity. A little coffee house and bakery in village and some lovely walks nearby. We love the peace and quiet of the area. It’s our fourth visit back and we will definitely be returning at some point.

    Beautiful renovated property.

Beautiful renovated property. Very nicely decorated and clean. The hosts were very friendly and informative with local knowledge and suggestions. The breakfast was included and featured cereals, fruit, yogurt, eggs and sausages. And of course coffee, tea and juices. Across the street was a great pub, with good food and great ales. Would highly recommend staying here for a few day's, and enjoying all the sites.

The room had everything one could ask for. The fresh flowers, well stocked mini-fridge, and large assortment of snacks was an unexpected treat. We were provided with comfortable robes and slippers and plush towels that were always heated. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was amazing! Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
