An update to my previous critical review, which was uploaded on 29 April. On 2 May, I received a message from the owner, apologising for the non response, advising that their colleague had found the hearing aids but "hadn''t told them." The owner sent a photo of them, then on my confirmation that they were my hearing aids, posted them to my home address, sending a confirmation of proof of posting. Delivered today. It does leave one or two questions, but the way the owner has acted since my review was posted is commendable. I think Booking.com may need to check a few things. The telephone number on the confirmation is the one the owner responds to when arriving, but subsequent calls to that number elicit the response that it has nothing to do with that property. Information on how to get to the hotel from the Airport and back was sorely lacking on the hotel website. We had to wait at a cold bus stop at Terminal 5 on arrival and in fact were picked up by a friendly Crew bus at 10.45pm as our bus would come after midnight. We had a long walk through a taxi park from where he dropped us, albeit in sight of the hotel with 3 pieces of luggage each. We are in our 70's. Next morning we found a shuttle bus and a large shared vehicle available outside the hotel door to all terminals. Toook 5 minutes. Dont arrive on a late flight. No information was given as to where to find them at the airport on arrival. . We tried to communicate with the hotel by email, and Whatapp and phone for three days before we arrived, never got an answer. They tell you that you can but not HOW! Location was good however it was difficult to find and also I complained via email on the night about issues I found. I received no response other than in relation to taxi booking information! Issues were: room stank of cigarette smoke, mould in bathroom and condensation dripped on me (via mouldy ceiling) after having a shower, broken loo seat, room advertised as soundproofed but I could hear room next door as if they were in my room. big scam, we arrived at the place, no address # was given, thanks to our cab driver we found the house. Nobody there, could not get in, emailed back, no response, even pin code on print out did not work.More customers were arriving, nobody could get in, all very upset. Finally after 20 minutes a young lady came outside, could not help us because did not spoke English, but we could figure out she worked there. We had the cab driver still waiting, extra costs, decided to book and try somewhere else, it was getting late on a Friday night, past 10.00 PM.
