A perfect little hideaway. Absolutely everything we needed in a cosy tiny space! The view was gorgeous, the hut is really well stocked with everything you could want. It felt safe, secure and comfy. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Welcoming staff. Small room but really clean and comfortable. Had everything I needed including a Nespresso machine and a Roberts radio. Fully equipped bar. Clean and modern bathroom with good shower pressure Excellent breakfast. Restaurant/ pub was full (Thursday evening). Really good food!

    Accommodation here is of a high standard – my roulotte (think modern version of a Romany caravan) was spotlessly clean, very nicely furnished and well-equipped (although I would have happily swapped the oven and hob provided for a microwave - perhaps that's a solo traveller perspective). Central shared laundry facilities would have been useful to me. Hassocks is a great base from which to enjoy Sussex and the South Downs. The town and station are a pleasant 15-minute walk away. There are plenty of bus services nearby too.

    Cute and well fitted out with all necessities for my stay. Good size for 1 or 2 travellers. Once I had the instructions how to get there and for entry, everything was easy. Easy to park. Nice and private and felt safe and secure. Compact yet still with space to move about in. Not too far to the nearest big village (Hassocks) and shops. There is a foot path all the way, so is possible to walk if you wanted (tho bring a torch if it's dark because there's no street lighting near the end).

    The cottage is lovely. With two children (13 and 11) it was a little cramped, but for two nights, it was fine. I imagine for a couple on their own it would be ideal and quite romantic. I don't want to be unduly negative. I love the countryside around East and West Sussex. The kids enjoyed the adventure of making up and unmaking their beds each morning/evening. As I said, for a couple in summer, I think it would be lovely.

    The cabin was lovely. Situated behind the pub, away from the main road overlooking beautiful scenery. It was small perfect for a couple. Plenty of storage for clothes and a little kitchen if you chose to cook. It was spotlessly clean and in a very quiet location, close to Hassocks train station and on main transport links (there is a bus stop outside the pub). We really enjoyed our visit.

    Very convenient for Pyecombe golf club and Hassocks station. Good instructions, easy to find. Nicely fitted out and easy to warm (very cold during our stay). Bed comfortable.
