I liked the bar and restaurant best in the Saracen's Head. My room was a little disappointing. The hotel fronted onto the market square, which was very pretty, with some interesting shops. Highworth is a lovely small market town with lots of interesting history. It has a very useful visitor centre with a small museum. The surrounding area is beautiful with a lot of ancient historical monuments and sites within easy reach. Saracens hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful to tell us how to get into Swindon as we was going to the town center for a cocktails.. the garden area at the hotel was very nice we had sat out in the cobble stone area in the evening for drinks but in the inside area they have tv which was showing the cricket and other sport events.Guest review bytrevorUnited Kingdom
