Loved the cottage. The owners have put a lot of thought and care into ensuring that visitors have a comfortable stay even including a 'kitchen drawer' of household necessities in a box (you know, sticky tape etc). Off street parking was really handy as was the grocery shop right across the road. Plenty of maps and location guides to ensure you don't miss out on seeing anything in the area. And I tried out both pubs - why wouldn't you?

I have stayed here several times and each time the welcome has been amazing. This time we arrived just a bit late and as such the restaurant was shut but they had a word with the chef and they agreed to make us something and gave us a variety of choice too. Really amazing hospitality

We loved the property and all The great staff. Enjoyed a great country walk, amazing food and a great day around the pool. The staff don’t seem Like they work in a hotel, more like we stayed at their house for the weekend. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Lovely main building, loved the decor they used a great interior designer, quirky and interesting. We were in the annexe where the rooms were large with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a great shower. Dinner was in their restaurant, really delicious as was breakfast.

the place is truly magical, the building inside and out is beautiful! the decoration refers to another era, the rooms are extremely functional, but very clean! I wish we had more days in this place! The breakfast is very nice! we will definitely come back again

    Holt was ok, the ham in was not good, breakfast was a piece...

    Holt was ok, the ham in was not good, breakfast was a piece of toast or a bowl of cereal from a storage jar, in a shared breakfast area, it was dire!!!, the actual pub is closed Monday and Tuesdays, who knew !!!! we were not informed of this, The stairs to the room were small and difficult to get up with a case. England played on the night we were there and the pub was closed, no World Cup fever here .....

    A good place to stay if you don’t want bells and whistles. It was clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. Some of the fixture where broken so I could hang up my coat and it was dated BUT what needed to work, worked and was as I expected for what I paid. Been in worse and paid much more for less.

    Lovely little place with a very friendly host. Great for three couples, though one room has two singles (i.e. suitable for kids). The home is a little quirky, but that's part of the charm. Lovely to be in Holt, away from the tourists, yet close to The Courts (NT garden) and the great Tollhouse pub. Five minute drive into delightful Bradford. Home is very clean and spacious. Highly recommend.

    Rooms was clean, bed comfortable and breakfast was included. Can't ask for more. Food in pub was very good and staff very friendly. Holt is very quite, quite off putting for someone like me from the 'burbs :)

    Oozes atmosphere and very cozy. A lot of thought went into the creating the best experience for guests. There was even free food and drinks in the kitchen area. One of the best hotels I ever been to

    Situated in the pretty village of Holt, the pub is very much a community hub serving good wholesome meals. There was a well - attended quiz night the evening I was there. Fantastic value!
