I can not say enough positive things about this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The room was amazing, had phenomenal views, and was just perfect. Note that not all the rooms have excellent views and some look directly into another building, or are quite small. The best rooms in the house are a trek up old stairs of varying heights. So. Many. Stairs. Pack light is what I'm saying. The food is excellent. I really want their recipe for the mushroom and tarragon soup! Excellent music as well. There is parking for guests right outside in a small car park. Don't make the mistake we did and park at the main car park and lug your luggage through the whole village!

The location was ideal, with pubs and amenities right on the door step. The property was very homely, with a log fire, and period fittings. Our host was very helpful, and we had no issues at all during our stay. Highly recommend!
