Sleepy little village, unfortunately most of the shops were shut mid afternoon Saturday. We were recommended Morley’s Bistro to eat, it was very good,as were the fish and chips, suggest you phone first to order. We caught the train to Brighton from the next village, frequent trains . Parking good too.

Hurstpierpoint is a lovely bustling village with clean streets and friendly people. The Morley Restaurant is the highlight of the place. They offer coffee, lunch and Dinner at a high standard. Their food was wonderful and very friendly staff. The Railway station is a car drive away, but not far away, taking you to Brighton and London. The car park is opposite the Junior School and amazingly, free.

Charming cottage and perfect for a couple!

Charming cottage and perfect for a couple! Had everything we needed in kitchen and bath. Owners very nice and checked in with us to see if anything was needed. Walking distance to pubs/ restaurants/takeout. Extremely clean which is a big plus! Parking lot very close and easy to access.

Didn't get a chance to explore the area as was working at Hickstead. Briefly visited the village for some shopping and what I saw was very attractive and I would love to return to have a good look around the whole area.

Lovely friendly couple in a very old farmhouse they had restored. A long tarmac lane on a private road to get there, this meant that you had piece and quite and could only hear the birds in the trees surrounding the cottage. A rebuilt barn next to the cottage for breakfast or just sitting in the evening with tea and coffee facilities. Would need a car or taxi to get to the cottage if you have any heavy luggage. I went to far and knocked on the very end house which was incorrect, it is the first one on the left hand side with a carpark round the back of the farmhouse.
