I was encouraged by the previous reviews, which consistently hit the top. However, I was mindful that reviews can rely on how people are feeling on the day.     Hyssington is a tiny rural village which is perfectly situated to use as base to explore the beautiful Shropshire hills as well as mid Wales. Within 30 mins drive there are beautiful walks, numerous medieval castles, and historical sites such as Offa's Dyke and a wonderful Iron Age Hill Fort. If you're looking for the bright lights of a bustling city or town, this is not the destination for you. If you like to relax to the sound of birdsong and bleating sheep, with the occasional stunning sunset, it could be!
