The North Street Annexe was perfect to stay at, close to the shops but in a quiet area. The Shrubbery is a great place too, the meals there are great, I would recommend the restaurant. The Cheesecake shop is supposed to be good but doesn’t open until Thursdays. The shops are a good mix too. Some lovely independent shops. We chose Ilminster as it was fairly close to the M5 but not too far from Lyme Regis, where we were visiting the following day.
