Stayed in Irvine bay several times as we visit Irvine alot. This is always my 1st choice when booking. Private secure entry system and everything you need for an overnight. Fantastic cafe right across the road called puffers always worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Beach is a short walk along the stunning harbour and really close by to the shopping centre, railway station and plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from.

Great property finished to a high standard, everything you need, all modern and clean, kids loved the pull out sofa bed! Lovely courtyard to the back of the property, ideally situated close to bar and an Italian restaurant, the portal and couple mins walk from river gate, the hosts before during and after went above and beyond, couldn’t have been any friendlier or any more accommodating, thanks for a lovely stay

Had a fabulous room with a view although we were in a family room have no doubt the other rooms were just as good. Very clean, spacious and mattresses were very comfortable. Owner was very helpful and friendly, best place to stay on our trip. Coffee & tea in room and welcome guide suggested some nice places to eat. Guest house has so much history and the harbour area is great for a nice walk. Directions were good and place easy to find and book in with no problems. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again...tks Andrew

    I love Irvine, the beach is beautiful and you have...

    I love Irvine, the beach is beautiful and you have facilities there as well which is perfect, especially if you are taking children. I love the wee cafes along Harbour street but my favourite is Small Talk, love this cafe. The home baking is delicious! They also have a gluten free selection of cakes. I highly recommend you try this wee place. You have everything you need close by, its such a beautiful place.

    People in town were friendly.

    People in town were friendly. The maritime museum was very interesting. We came for genealogy research and the graveyards were cool, though many headstones were illegible. Food choices were okay but lacking in vegetables and fruits.

    The beach is about a 5-10 minutes drive away for nice walks. Irvine town centre is about a 5 minute walk but there doesn't seem to be a lot in it. The hotel is on the bus route to Irvine town centre.

    small town plenty of shops not to far from the sea and easy access to other places of interest ie the lochs ferry and distillerys all within an hours drive so we spent time in distilerys and the famouse nardinies icecream parlour,

    The location is really great with easy access to main shops / food outlets and pubs. Nice access to the promenade and good walks to the beach and surrounds. Its our second time staying at Ervin Bay and its good value for money and we totally recommended

    There is plenty of choice for eating and drinking.

    There is plenty of choice for eating and drinking. All tastes are catered for with restaurants and take-aways as well as cafes and coffee shops. Walking around felt safe and was pleasent with good architecture to admire. The main shopping centre had plenty of choice with abundant parking as well.

    Nick's guest house was literally the easiest place to check into! Hilarious given I was expecting it to be a little more tricky given it was a guest house BNB without a BNB host on site. The automatic pin code and the keys ready and waiting on the other side, with a car park right next to the guest house was so easy. The room was renovated so nicely, and even though it was small, it was completely as described and perfect for a one night stop over in Irvine. Very easy to access a nice walk down to the beach at Irvine.

    On arrival we were made most welcome. The bathroom was of a very high standard and the room itself was again of a high standard. We also had a fridge in the room. The bed and matress offered a great nights sleep, no aches or pains in the morning. We travel a lot and this was one of the most pleasant stays we have had. The hotel was only a 2 minute walk to many top shops and eateries, also to the local train station and harbour.
