Fantastic and very peaceful location. The facilities were amazing like the hot tub and everything inside the pod itself. Big, comfortable bed and Bluetooth speakers to play your music in the pod! The hosts Mark and Marta pulled out all the special touches. They accommodated a late check out and after informing them my partner is dairy free, they thought of everything and added some vegan cheese and yoghurts and alternative milk which we really appreciated. The breakfast hamper and fridge was stocked with lots of snacks and drinks, couldn’t have asked for more!

I adored every little detail – from the cozy atmosphere to the incredible hot tub, which was absolutely divine. I’m already looking forward to coming back and will definitely plan another trip to Scotland just to stay here longer. what’s not to like about this lovely hotel?! first of all, we liked very much the idea that it belongs to the community of Gartmore , thus giving it a sense of familiarity and warmth. rooms spacious and very clean, hearty breakfast and a nice, cozy pub to unwind! the manager of the hotel told us about the history of the place and how it ended being sold to the people of Gartmore and we will definitely return!

We spent one evening in the byre, the first evening of our walk. The place is in a very convenient location, just next to the hiking trail. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hosts were lovely. For the future lodgers: ask for the pizza in the evening ;)
