I was brought up near Kingston, so a bit bias. Acted as tour guide to relatives from the US, and they were blown away by the history of the town and the walk along side the river, which they pronounced correctly. Suggest visiting Kingston Museum first, open on certain days of week. My Favourite place there is the Office of Sir Edward Davey, Leader of the Liberal Democrats Party. we ate at Double Tree By Hilton.
