Great place to visit on short stay. Mother Shiptons Cave was a disappointment though as we were expecting a cave you could walk in but this is definitely not the case though so bear that in mind as £15.00 per adult is expensive. We love it.

A lovely market town, quaint and friendly.
A lovely market town, quaint and friendly. Convenient to Harrogate, Skipton and York. Lovely riverside walk and boating opportunity. Plenty to do in and around the area. It’s quite hilly near the town. Had a great Steak & Ale pie at The Worlds End pub. knaresborough is a beautiful location to visit, with a wide variety of things to do, places to visit and scenic walks . Mother shiptons cave was very interesting and informative, well worth visiting. The boating on the nidd was a fun experience and good value for money. There are lots of interesting buildings to be seen in the area and beautiful gardens leading up to the castle. No parking onsite but the long stay car park nearby was cheap at £1.90 for 24 hours. Comfy beds and furniture, all mod-cons and the decor was fresh. Everything was spotlessly clean. This is a really nice sized 2-bedroom apartment. Being able to get the keys from the lock-box meant we were flexible with our check in time and it was easy to to check out. It was more spacious than we anticipated, and extremely well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. Hollins Farm is also perfectly located for visiting the surrounding area, we had a fabulous day at Fountains Abbey which was only 20 mins down the road, and a lovely lunch and wander around Knaresborough, which was even closer! A great place for a few days to stay. Really clean and comfortable. Loved the fact that it came with a car parking space that is 2 min walk away.
