    We stayed at Knowsley as it was much more cost effective...

    We stayed at Knowsley as it was much more cost effective than 2 nights in similar accommodation in Liverpool. We were down for the Everton Man City game. Unfortunately neither of us drive and as buses don't Service the hotel at the weekend meant we had to rely on taxis. For anyone who drives the location is not a problem though. Visited a few of the local hostelries. Copperpot, Derby Arms and Vikings Landing all were very friendly places with good service. Prices for drinks are favourable compared to other cities.

    Plenty for kids to do, seal show was fab and enjoyed the train ride around the park seeing some of the animals, plenty of kiosks for ice creams and places to sit in with shade as weather was red hot, clean toilets with disabled facilities. Loved the drive round the animals, with a lucky escape with the monkeys 😊

    as a wheelchair user we were given a ground floor room which was appreciated but the lack of fresh air was suffocating at times as the air con was not sufficient.A small refrigerator would have been useful

    Not worth a 4 stars hotel. Paid too much to stay there.

    Not worth a 4 stars hotel. Paid too much to stay there. I expected more from initial pictures shown on booking.com. Shower and taps was hard to use. Then water pressure coming out of the shower head was so hard that my 10 years old son did not like as it hurt him.

    The room was spacious clean and the hotel was welcoming. We used the spa facilities which were great. Very clean we came for a relaxing night away and it definitely did that. We had drinks in the bar area which were reasonably priced and the breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel. Worth every penny fab night away and staff were very friendly.

    A very clean hotel, helpful staff and an enjoyable experience. The restaurant was limited on numbers, but the food was very good with the staff always there to help. I enjoyed the pool with all the facilities such as the steam room working!
