very convenient for local National trust properties -Scotney...
very convenient for local National trust properties -Scotney Castle and Sissinghurst are very near . The Vineyard is a pub with just 3 converted two storey 'bedsits' excellently converted though with spiral staircase to the bedroom . Nice small patio outside the room. Very good value for money. Pretty Kent village and very convenient for Scotney Castle (NT) nearby. Teise and Coffee cafe in the village, very good breakfast, particularly useful as the Vineyard where we stayed overnight did not serve breakfast on weekdays, only weekends. However, it does not open until 10am and is closed on Mondays. Some lovely old buildings in Lamberhurst and near the Vineyard Pub is the Lamberhurst Vineyard. Would probably not stay at the Vineyard again due to its proximity to the road and also the steep spiral staircase joining the two floors.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom

First time I have stayed in a hotel room with an upstairs bedroom (Scotney) so that was different. Eat in the restaurant the evening of our stay and it was very tasty.
