We arrived here on day 3of a 6 day hike and it was paradise! Fantastic room, comfy bed, friendly staff, jacuzzi, sauna, pool and an exceptional breakfast before we set off again the following morning. Superb!

Addy and Gareth were just amazing from the time I arrived, until the time I left. Bed was soooo comfy, meals were amazing and well priced. After reading some of the previous reviews, Addy is obviously on the right track. Would definitely stay here again and happy to recommend. Keep up the good work and customer focus team. Its certainly appreciated.

We arrived rather late in the midst of a rain storm and were famished. Even though we had no restaurant reservation and the restaurant was presumably booked, the staff was able to accommodate us and seat us right away for a delicious dinner. The dining room is lovely and quiet - quite a contrast to noisy London restaurants. We inquired about a tour of the historic common areas and our request was graciously granted. After seeing the charming common areas - some with roaring fires in the various fireplaces - we were sorry that we had not arrived at the Manor earlier in the day, as it would have been nice to have sat in one of those inviting areas with a good book and a glass of wine rather than being out sightseeing in the rain. Our room was spacious - including the enormous bathroom -and was spotless. We were thankful to have a good-sized dresser available to store clothes in addition to the closet space. The bed was very comfortable. Our room overlooked a lovely water feature with lots of interesting birds. The following morning we got a much better look at the exterior of the historic property. We are both architecture buffs and were quite impressed. We have resolved to return during our next visit to England and possibly even stay here and commute into London to see the sights rather than stay in London to do such things.

Love the location but mostly love the staff hospitality (Brian is a true gentleman) and the historical nature of the establishment. Facilities are nice and modern but the ye olde charm is there to entice.

    Stayed overnight after cancelled flight at Gatwick.

    Stayed overnight after cancelled flight at Gatwick. Arrived at 11pm and the guy on receiption was very professional. He booked us in quickly, explained breakfast and also helped us with onward travel arrangements. The breakfast was excellent - chef prepared crispy bacon just how I like it. As we left the breakfast room the same guy was coming on reception desk and he organised a taxi to the train station. Great staff and a lovely hotel, just we didn't get time to use the facilitiies.

    Visit this hotel every year.Always accommodating. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff are all without question amazing.They create a relaxed atmosphere whilst unobtrusively providing for your every need . Location is perfect for a day at the races.

    Friendly staff and great for golfers and racecourse users. Good swimming pool and convenient parking. Rooms are tired and dated and the double beds were uncomfortable for two people. There also wasn’t enough staff breakfast and the volume of people meaning food ran out quickly.

    The room was very clean as was the bathroom. Check in was quick and friendly. The food in the Restaurant was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly without going over the top. Ideal place to stay for Gatwick Airport. I can throughly recommend staying here.

    Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone...

    Because there was nobody at the front desk I had to phone the hotel to inform them that the one light bulb in the bathroom did not work, the tap in the bathroom did not work properly and the basin did not drain properly BUT they did nothing about it. The furniture was also visibly dirty.

    location was very good ,i would avoid using this hotel if i was coming to the area again . we had a breakfast at the property but it was only warm so we had the need to find a cafe close by ,bear this in mind if you book a breakfast .

    We absolutely loved the pool and the fact that pool towels were provided. The breakfast surpassed our expectations as each and every member of our party was well impressed. The hotel was easy to find, ample parking, helpful staff, comfortable rooms and very clean.

    Lovely hotel, on site of race course. Had an exceptional room, lovely comfy bed and pillows. Very clean bathroom with large walk in shower. Large window with view of racecourse. Perfect stay. Would recommend 100% . Excellent breakfast too. Big variety fresh and hot.
