The Albert Docks / Pier Head area of Liverpool is vibrant. The Museum of Liverpool and Beatles Experience are well worth a visit, as is a ride on the famous Ferry Across the Mersey. A very interesting city.
A very interesting city. My wife & I were following a mystery guide ( www.mysteryguides.co.uk ) which we found very helpful and showed us a lot of the city's historic places. We visited in September and the city was relatively quiet. Easy to book onto tours, magical mystery tour and the ferry tour are both good value. The city is very clean and the people very friendly. We would highly recommend visiting especially if you are a Beatles fan!Guest review byAnonymous

The cost of the hotel stay was very good value. The hotel was in walking distance of the shops and Albert Docks. The beds were comfortable. The sofa bed pulls out to be 2 single beds which you have to throw sheets on to make up the bed ready to sleep and then a double bed is already made up.
