Really impressive city with amazing architecture and history. Lots to see and do - plenty to meet the needs of a wide variety of travellers. Enjoyed the hop-on hop-off city tour. Can also recommend the tour of Anfield if a LFC fan.

The Albert Docks / Pier Head area of Liverpool is vibrant.

The Albert Docks / Pier Head area of Liverpool is vibrant. The Museum of Liverpool and Beatles Experience are well worth a visit, as is a ride on the famous Ferry Across the Mersey. Unfortunately the Tate Liverpool was closed for refurbishment during my visit. Albert Docks has restaurants for all tastes.

    A very interesting city.

A very interesting city. My wife & I were following a mystery guide ( www.mysteryguides.co.uk ) which we found very helpful and showed us a lot of the city's historic places. Because of this we also found Ma Boyles Bar & Eatery where we enjoyed two evening meals.

We visited in September and the city was relatively quiet.

We visited in September and the city was relatively quiet. Easy to book onto tours, magical mystery tour and the ferry tour are both good value. The city is very clean and the people very friendly. We would highly recommend visiting especially if you are a Beatles fan!

Best option in Liverpool! Unforgettable experience of living within the Beatles atmosphere! The kindness of the staff (Maria, Moe, Muhhammad) is outstanding! They provided all the support for us to have an unforgettable Christmas at this hotel. The hotel provides an immersive experience in the Beatles history, through music, posters, videos etc. The bedrooms are big and silent. The location is perfect, near the Cavern Clube, the Beatles statue, the Beatles Museum, the Beatles Story (in the docks), and a lot of good restaurants.

Jacob on Reception was very informative with a good introduction to where is best to visit whilst in Liverpool. The cost of the hotel stay was very good value. The hotel was in walking distance of the shops and Albert Docks. The beds were comfortable. The sofa bed pulls out to be 2 single beds which you have to throw sheets on to make up the bed ready to sleep and then a double bed is already made up. Our room had a kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and clothes washer machine.

Lovely hotel situated next door to the Philharmonic Pub. Within a 15 min walk to the city centre and the Albert Docks but if you don’t want the walk then the buses are very regular and bus stop close by. Hotel was very clean and beautiful room (deluxe double with spa jacuzzi). Issue with no hand soap but quickly resolved by staff. Not cheap and would have got a 9 if breakfast was included in price 😊

Fantastic location for first time Liverpool tourists. All major tours steps away. Lots of attractions at the Docks. Great selection of restaurants next door. It's England/ liverpool...could have used a pub near by, but otherwise great. Hotel breakfast was good, nice inclusion. Rooms could use an update. Mattresses weren't great, but rooms were big and always clean. Great views.
