The Boatshed is a great cosy cabin nestled away in the middle of Wales. It is the perfect spot to get away from the busy cities and relax in nature. Barney & Charlotte are amazing hosts who make you feel at home here, we will be back!

The host was very welcoming and provided extra things like homemade Bara Brith tea bread. We were especially happy go see collection boxes for recyclables. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we could imagine, all well-organized.

The location was very good - quiet, yet within a couple of miles of an A road, so easy access to many local attractions. There were local shops quite close by and supermarkets a few miles away. It was very pleasant just sitting quietly in the sun at the house. Some of the local views were exceptionally fine.

The hotel is absolutely lovely. The location, the view, the room, and most of all the lovely and extremely helpful, polite, and fun the host is. Before arriving the contact was also amazing (via email). This amazing lady helped us with everything we wanted. We had a special request about parking our motorcycles and she remembered. We got an even better room (upgrade) at no charge. The breakfast was made of high-quality products. The coffee was delicious. There was even a surprise waiting for us - the hotel is on the UK army jet plane route and every weekday they fly over the building in the morning - what a spectacle! I am coming back to this hotel for sure!

We could not have wanted for anything more. Robin and Jane were extremely accommodating, we had our dogs with us who loved the place and the grounds. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they were the perfect hosts. Their passion for hospitality and clearly for amazing food was clear to see. Also to reiterate... the food was amazing.

    This was a beautiful location especially if you like nature.

    This was a beautiful location especially if you like nature. It was very private and such a privilege to spend time there in the stillness and beauty of the place. It is probably the best place we have stayed for us. Beautifully designed cottage full of interest history and art. The hosts were warm and friendly and made us very welcome with bara birth and Welsh cakes. We wanted to switch off unwind and we did. It exceeded our expectations . Beautiful walks nice pub fairly near. Visited Vyrnwy valley very beautiful thankyou
