A lovely little town with the river running through it.
A lovely little town with the river running through it. It is very quiet, but seems to have a nice community. We were welcomed at the heritage centre where there was lots of information about the area. Everything is within walking distance, including the station. The convenience store has a good range of food and other articles such as maps. There are several restaurants, tea shops and pubs. For a bit of luxury book a meal at the Drovers Arms, with an Egon Ronay chef, a lovely eveningl. A few miles up the road is The Trout at Beulah which provided great food and drink at a good price, so we went there most nights! Breakfast is very good too and enough to set you up for the day. Riverbank is in a lovely peaceful location and the ideal Hotel for motorcyclists offering secure overnight storage.
