I utilized the Spring Festival holiday to visit the UK with my mom, and we stayed at this hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent, situated right next to Trafalgar Square, with famous landmarks such as the Big Ben and the London Eye just about a 15-minute walk away. The staff were also very nice. I would be willing to stay here again on my next visit. The value for money is particularly good. Some staff members speak Chinese, making it highly recommended for student travelers.

It is easy to walk to most sight-seeing locations depending of course where you stay. Many of the major museums are free, but the smaller ones are not so plan ahead. Watch out for the cyclists or the drivers when you are crossing the road. They were some of the meaner interactions I saw out of many major cities i've been to. Pizza Pilgrims in Carnabyoff Reagent's St was delicious. I enjoyed really just walking the city and seeing the free museums. You could easily do the city relatively inexpensively if you so chose.

The city is beautiful, the parks are amazing. Lots of unbelievable historic sites, amazing museums (some are even free), very friendly people. Transportation wasn't that good. The Underground was very reliable, but there were problems with the payment (Tap-In/Tap-Out glitched out several times, Google Wallet did not work). We found the famous double-decker busses to be very unreliable, seemed like they ignored the schedule completely. I highly recommend eating and drinking at the pubs.

I've travelled to London numerous times, 2 or 3 times per year for many years. I'm always discovering new adventures and things to do and see. It's also a GREAT city to use as a home base for day trips. Many places of interest are within a 1 hour train ride. It is also a VERY walkable city.

The Holiday Inn in Kensington London is in a fantastic location, the underground is around the corner from the hotel therefore it is so easy to return after an excursion, there are so many great shops, cafes and restaurants in the area that you will be spoilt for choice during your stay; if you need a bank or the post office they are also conveniently situated not too far from the hotel. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful and efficient. A great place to stay!

Coming back to London regularly and having been to different apartments and hotels I can say this apartment was the best accommodation I have ever had. It was modern, absolutely clean, well equipped and well kept. The bed was extremely comfortable. The tube station is just a 2-minutes walk away. The area is nice and just a 20 minutes ride from Green Park. Everything in the building is modern and new. Getting in with all the information provided in advance was very easy!

The apartment was spacious, particularly for London. The communal area is a comfortable, homely and open room that meant we could work from the apartment without having to go into the office. With the current price of hotels in the area about double what it was for the same time last year, this was the perfect solution and still within our budget.
