Sweet and picturesque lakeside village.
Sweet and picturesque lakeside village. We did some beautiful walks- enjoyed boat ride around loch and spent a few hours on idyllic island in loch. A couple of small gift shops and a village store with fantastic cakes and essential supplies. A nice hotel and small restaurant/ cafe to eat in . We had a car and drive to other nearby lochs and had breathtaking drive up to glencoe and glen elive….. iconic James Bond sky-fall location. Luss village was really picturesque - such an attractive spot on the Loch. We used it as a base for a Loch Cruise which was great. Luss is incredibly popular, and with the exceptional weather, the car park was full very quickly. Culag is in a stunning setting, Patrick is a fantastic host. The property was superb plenty tea,coffee,sugar and even fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. It was supposed to be a simple one night stay on our way to the Isle of Skye, expecting a quick meal and early night. What we got was one of the best nights of our trip, such a good atmosphere with the live music and beautiful views of the loch. The evening meal and breakfast were fantastic and the staff were so friendly, particularly the gentlemen at breakfast who couldn’t do enough to help you.
