The breakfast to start each day was delicious and with a beautiful view of the gardens. The hosipitality from the owner and all the staff could not have been better. Each evening we finished our days with beautiful drinks outside on the terrace and a delicious 3 course dinner after. Highly recommend staying here to get a nice break in the Scottish countryside.

The accommodation was immaculate and so homely! I've never been somewhere that is so well stocked. There were so many little extras provided that we weren't expecting. It was spacious and allowed us to gather as a family. Communication with the owner was excellent. Location was brilliant, tucked out of the way but within a short drive to amenities! Absolutely loved our stay.

    There are 3/4 bars in the area. One bar is officially for the Parkdean caravan park. The other 3 bars/restaurants/cafes are open to the public. All 3 are extremely friendly with lovely chatty staff who are proud of their area. There is also a chip shop, amusement arcade and a well stocked small supermarket. The beach isn't great but fine for long walks. There's a golf course adjacent which seems to be well used by holidaymakers.

    the location was prime for a short family staycation. we were 20 minutes from Dalbeatie, and right on the seafront. excellent for walking and taking in nature. the area is full of cute village feels, with lots of pubs and tea rooms to visit. plenty to do for the little ones also.
