    Moreton in Marsh was a convenient location for a side trip from our visit to London. Very easy train access and a very walkable and charming little town. We used this location as a base of operations to tour some other Cotswolds towns and couldn't have been happier.

    Excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds.

    Excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. Easily reached by train. Accomodations mostly in historical buildings along the (busy) main road. Large supermarkets and a lot of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Especially loved cocktails in the garden of the Manor House, breakfast and excellent coffee at Lynnwood and generous portions of italian at Bellinis.

    Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town.

    Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town. There’s a market there on Tuesdays. Great places to eat gorgeous fish and chip bar. The black bear Inn fantastic food. Bellini Italian restaurant fantastic. Stay away from the Thai restaurant (SIAM COTTAGE THAI) cold food which we waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for. Service below poor. Plus if you order soft drinks (J2O) they share the bottle between 2 glasses and charge for 2. We used go guide to see around the Cotswolds Elaine the guide was fabulous we visited many places Bourton on the water, Snowshill where Bridget Jones (first one) was filmed, chipping Campden, Cirencester - Bibury etc

    Lovely market town with plenty of pubs, restaurants and interesting little shops. Vey attractive. Not too commercialised. Saturday market. Nearby Batsford Arboretum and Snowhill Lavendar Farm are beautiful.

    It is a lovely little town in the Northern Region of the...

    It is a lovely little town in the Northern Region of the Cotswolds and has a direct train connection to London Paddington Station (1hr 42Min). We were told that every Tuesday there is a mayor Market all along High Street on Morton-in-Marsh with Antiques and lots of other interesting things.

    Nice place ruined by appalling bus service, appreciate it...

    Nice place ruined by appalling bus service, appreciate it was bank holiday but it is a tourist place and a bus every two hours is not good enough. Waited 30 minutes for bus and when eventually arrived drove straight past as it was full. Ended up spending £30 on a taxi for an eight mile journey.

    A beautiful cottage in the idyllic Moreton in marsh, such a beautiful place to stay. The cottage had ample space and was tastefully decorated. It was spotlessly clean throughout, and the sofas and beds were very comfortable. The view overlooking the courtyard was simply beautiful and very tranquil. The host provided us with all the information we needed prior to our stay, so the communication throughout was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here, such a perfect stay which exceeded our expectations.

    Great location with easy access to all the pretty Cotswold villages. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. The bar and conservatory dining room were attractively designed with views of the courtyard garden and there were plenty of quiet corners if needed. Lovely Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom. Comfortable bedroom, if a little small. Added bonus of free parking.

    The hotel was perfect for us. Cosy, warm and little touches were thought of. We love the pub itself and it was so nice for this to be on site. The food was brilliant and staff was so friendly. The location was great and we were on long walks from Moreton-In-Marsh, visiting some local pubs on route. The Christmas decorations and snow were added bonuses.
