Like a fairy tale. A charming house in the middle of picturesque Welsh hills. The room is exceptionnal. Every single piece of furniture fits the place as if it were born with it. Many little details kept us amazed during the whole stay : the fine bed linen, the fresh delicate flower planted on the chimney, the beautiful hand-bound welcoming booklet, the discrete bottle of bubble bath sitting on the edge of the tub. And I almost forgot the delicious breakfast and fascinating hosts. You cannot dream of a better place to spend a romantic holiday or to visit South Wales.

The bed was large king size and very comfortable. Just the right amount of blanket weight. It was nice to have another room with the couch and TV instead of lying on the bed. Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits supplied. Large bathroom with good shower pressure, shower is over the bath. Nice and quiet in our room, no road noise. Everything very clean and well presented. Good location meaning we could walk all around town to shop and have dinner.

A great place in the middle of the town, easy walking from the train station. Rooms have just had a top makeover, new beds and furniture. Very clean and a fantastic breakfast. You are well looked after by Chris & Jason

We loved everything about the Garden Shed. The layout was great, it was comfortable and very inviting. It had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean, with a soft comfy bed and bedding. The bathroom was lovely with a nice big shower. The kitchen was ideal, with a fridge, freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. The outside area was also lovely, with pretty flowers and plants all around. The hosts were friendly and helpful too. We would definitely love to stay again.

    Loved the house - beautifully appointed and very comfortable...

    Loved the house - beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Spacious bedroom with separate beautiful bathroom and shower all to ourselves - wonderful bath. Amazing breakfasts with lots of choice from cereals, fruit, yoghurt to cooked breakfast vegetarian or 'normal'! Phillipa and Dieter were very welcoming and couldn't have looked after us better. We chose it for its rural, peaceful location. The best place to eat in our opinion was Wrights Emporium, Dryslwyn - good food, plenty of variety and good service.

    Some of your questions not detailed enough, the apartment...

    Some of your questions not detailed enough, the apartment had a lovely Juliette balcony of the lounge opening up to view of the river which was lovely. Although no garden the river bank we’re you could sit was private to the apartments and just outside.
