    My family originated from Nefyn and I had lost a great great...

    My family originated from Nefyn and I had lost a great great grandfather to a shipwreck off Anglesey( the Royal Charter). The Maritime Museum was good and I enjoyed the Bara Brith. The beach was stunning even with the wind and rain. The sunny day we left in showed us the interchange between sea and hills and the dazzling bright colours of the foliage. Loved the sheep and cattle too in the fields.

    Nefyn is a quite seaside town on the Llyn penninsula.

    Nefyn is a quite seaside town on the Llyn penninsula. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend a weekend or a week relaxing, lazing on the beach when the weather permits, taking in the beautiful views, walking or hiking around the surrounding hilly countryside, then Nefyn may well be the place for you. There are golf links at nearby Morfa Nefyn. If you are looking for 5-star hotels, sophisticated nightlife or shopping, then Nefyn is not the place for you! The public bus service is limited, and so a car will be useful if you want to explore the tourist sites in the surrounding areas.

    Nefyn itself is only a small town.

    Nefyn itself is only a small town. There is a very good community pub and a very well stocked Spar convenience store. The road to the beach is very steep for walkers and cars alike but the beach is long and sandy and very pleasant.

    Very comfortable well appointed and clean interesting cottage. Convenient for Nefyn’s facilities including pubs, restaurants, shops and a lovely sandy beach all within walking distance. Excellent base for exploring the Lleyn Peninsula as well. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again soon. Private parking is another bonus.

    The cottage & garden are beautiful, with stunning views. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable & had everything we needed. It's in a very peaceful location, with easy access to lots of footpaths & lovely walks, including down into Nefyn, though the path is a bit steep in places so might not be suitable for everyone.

    Very well equipped and cosy cottage. Very good communication from the host. We really appreciated the lovely welcome gift on arrival. We especially liked the wood fire! Nefyn is a wonderful place to visit.

    Room had a nice view, it was close to the beach, bed was really comfy. Front of the hotel was quiet and back bar was bustling so could choose what atmosphere you wanted.
